Mr. Sudhir Vasudeva has been adjudged the best leader in public sector enterprises.

Mr. Vasudev has won the SCOPE Award for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the Public Sector Management –Individual Leadership Catagory. This was communicated in a letter to Mr. Vasudeva yesterday December 12, 2013, by Dr. U.D. Choubey, Director General - SCOPE.

While congratulating Mr. Vasudeva on behalf of SCOPE, Dr. Choubey wrote that the awards have been conceptualized and instituted to recognize the contribution of Public Enterprises as well as to encourage outstanding persons for their hard work and leadership qualities.

The selection of this prestigious award was based on stringent criteria evolved by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and distinguished panel of emiment persons as  jury comprising Mr. Moosa Raza Former Secretary, Mr. C. Phunsog  Former Chairam PSEB and Mr. Arvind Pande Former Chairman SAIL.

ONGC also won Commendation Certificate of 'SCOPE Award for Excellence and Outstanding Contribution to the Public Sector Management - Institutional Category'.

It may be noted that the SCOPE Awards are recognised as one of the most prestigious awards for public sector enterprises.
