ONGC added another feather to its cap by bagging the prestigious ‘Golden Peacock Award for Corporate Social Responsibility’ for 2014. ONGC has been declared as the Winner in the Oil & Gas Category.

The Award was presented by The Rt. Hon. Baroness Verma, Minister for Energy & Climate Change, Government of U.K. and Mrs. Rajashree Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiative and Rural Development, Aditya Birla Group. The Award was handed over at a specially organized ‘Golden Peacock Awards Nite’ presentation ceremony held recently at Mumbai (India), in the presence of distinguished gathering of business leaders, jurists, academics, environmentalists, economists, legislators and policy makers. The award was received by Mr. Alok Misra, ED-Chief CSR, ONGC.
