On 11 April 2016, CMD ONGC Mr. D.K. Sarraf received the ‘Scope Excellence Award’ under Maharatna category from Hon’ble President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee at Vigyan Bhawan Auditorium, on occasion of the 7th Public Sector Day.

Every year, the Public Sector Day is jointly organized by Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) and Department of Public Enterprises (DPE).

The function is a part of weeklong Public Sector day celebrations beginning from 10-16 April 2016 wherein entire Public Sector fraternity throughout the country and abroad will hold seminars, conferences, quiz competitions, talk by eminent persons, and cultural programs.
