The Chairman and CEO of Energy Maharatna Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Arun Kumar Singh commands a distinguished career spanning over 37 years in the Oil & Gas industry, both within India and on the global stage. Known for his push for corporate reforms, his astute professional business management skills have brought significant value to every enterprise he has led. Prior to this, he was the CMD of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), an esteemed 'Maharatna' enterprise and Fortune Global 500 Company. Additionally, he chaired Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL), a prominent City Gas Distribution (CGD) Company, and played a pivotal role as a Board Member of Petronet LNG Ltd (PLL), a listed Joint Venture Company. As the President (Africa & Australia), he expanded the global footprints of Bharat Petro Resources Ltd, a wholly-owned overseas exploration subsidiary of BPCL. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the renowned National Institute of Technology, Patna. Under his stewardship, ONGC is taking significant steps to lead the Energy Transition going on in India.

As Director (Production), Pankaj Kumar provides strategic stewardship to the entire spectrum of oil and natural gas production across ONGC's production fields, both in Offshore and Onshore. His extensive 35-year journey in the oil & gas sector encompasses multifaceted expertise in Operations Management, Well Engineering, Joint Venture Management, Corporate Strategy, and Asset Management. His leadership roles include Chief of the Corporate Strategy & Planning group of ONGC and Asset Manager of prominent producing assets. A Chemical Engineering graduate from the University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee), he holds a Master's degree in Process Engineering from IIT Delhi. His continuous academic pursuits have led him to advanced management programs at prestigious institutions.

Serving as Director (Exploration) at the Energy Maharatna ONGC, Sushma Rawat brings forth 33 years of illustrious experience in Exploration. She holds positions on the boards of OTPCL and ONGC Petro Additions Ltd. With a diverse professional background, including her role as Executive Director-Basin Manager and OSD – Exploration, she adds a wealth of industry expertise to ONGC's exploration strategies. A Post-Graduate degree in Geology, she has done an ‘International Certificate Program in Business Management’ at ASCI, Hyderabad and at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana (FELU), Slovenia. An avid geologist, she organized numerous geological field workshops on modern deltas in Kakinada, the Cretaceous of Trichinapalli, the Jurassic of Kutch and the Triassic of Spit. She has been a founding member of various geotechnical societies.

With a remarkable three-decade career at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), including roles in Operations & Supplies, Information Systems, and HR Management Services, Patil is a seasoned industry professional. He has held significant positions like Regional HR Head at Indian Oil’s Northern Regional Office, Head of Institutional Business in Southern Region and Executive Director of HR and CSR at Indian Oil’s Corporate Office. His academic pursuits span Mechanical Engineering, Executive MBA, Advanced Diploma in Cyber Laws, and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.

Shri Vivek Chandrakant Tongaonkar is the Director Finance & CFO of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) since July 2, 2024. An Electrical Engineering graduate from the College of Engineering, Pune, he began his career in March 1987 at ONGC. He later completed his MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. With over 37 years of experience, he has expertise in Strategic decision making, Treasury & Investments, Accounts, Audit and Budgeting. He previously served as Director Finance & CFO of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) from May 2023, achieving significant financial milestones. He also holds leadership roles in Mangalore Special Economic Zone Limited (MSEZL) and PTC Energy Limited, and serves on the Boards of ONGC Green Limited, ONGC NTPC Green Pvt. Limited, and Ayana Renewable Power Pvt. Limited.

ONGC’s first-ever Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs), Mr. Arunangshu Sarkar is an industry veteran with over 37 years of experience across the Exploration & Production (E&P) value chain. He leads the formulation and execution of new strategies in the renewables, downstream, and E&P sectors, while strengthening both global and domestic partnerships. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Sarkar served as the Surface Manager of ONGC’s largest producing asset—Bassein & Satellite Asset—where he played a pivotal role in enhancing production and operational efficiency. He also had a distinguished tenure as Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy at ONGC Videsh, where he focused on international business expansion and strategic investments. Mr. Sarkar is a petroleum engineer from the IIT Dhanbad (erstwhile Indian School of Mines) and holds an MBA. He has also completed senior management programs at MDI Gurgaon, Energy Delta Institute (Netherlands), University of Antwerp (Belgium), IFP Training School (Paris), and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), along with IHRDC’s Strategic Planning & Management training in Boston, USA.

As the Director (Technology & Field Services) of ONGC, Mr Vikram Saxena spearheads the Drilling & Well Services campaign of this Maharana Company. In addition to overseeing these field services, he is also responsible for all Technical Services within the organization, as well as ONGC’s Institute of Drilling Technology -a Centre of Excellence in Drilling Technology and School of Maintenance Practices, Vadodara which provides support and training for Field Maintenance Services.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management, Mr. Saxena brings over 35 years of extensive experience in Exploration & Production (E&P) operations across both onshore and offshore domains. Before assuming his current role, he held several key leadership positions within ONGC, demonstrating a profound understanding of operations, maintenance, regulatory frameworks, health, safety & environment and policy matters. A dedicated proponent of continuous learning, Mr. Saxena has been a strong advocate for integrating cutting-edge technology and digitalization to drive growth and sustainability in the energy sector.

Praveen Mal Khanooja is currently working as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Prior to this assignment, he was Director General, Petroleum Planning & Analysis Cell (PPAC), an attached office of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas since November 2019.

Mr Khanooja is a B Tech in Chemical Engineering and M Tech in Management & Systems. He belongs to 1994 batch of Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) and has worked in various capacities in Defence Audit, Railways Audit, State Government Accounts & Audit at many field and Headquarters’ postings. He has also earlier served as Director (Finance) for the Department of Revenue and Central Board of Excise & Customs; Expert in the State Audit Institution, Sultanate of Oman and Additional DG in the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau.

He has conducted Compliance and Performance Audits of FAO, Rome; WIPO, Geneva, WTO, Spain; GFMD Geneva, and UNITAID Geneva.

He is a very avid reader and has participated in many discussions making considered suggestions on many energy related issues at various forums.

Mr Manish Pareek is a Practicing Advocate, a writer and a dynamic debater. He is a Law Graduate and also Masters in Business Administration from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. In addition, he holds Post Graduation Diploma in Labour Laws.

Mr Pareek is Former Deputy Mayor of Jaipur and has also served as the Councillor for more than two terms of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC). Being a Councillor, he served as the Chairman of Bylaws Committee and Head of Sanitation Inspection Committee of the JMC.

He has rich experience in law-making. Under his initiatives, various sanitation drives were also conducted.

Prior to joining the Company, Shri Agarwal served as an Independent Director on the Board of “Western Coalfield Limited”, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, from 01.11.2021 to 31.10.2024. Shri Agarwal also held directorship of various Private Sector companies - Sriram Textiles Pvt. Ltd, Steel City Properties Pvt. Limited and BRR Agro Farms Pvt. Ltd.
