ONGC Energy Centre (OEC) is headed by Director-General. Technical Research Unit (TRU) under which various Energy Programmes are undertaken are managed by the respective Project teams and support services.
Based on the RD&D proposal financial value, the same is recommended/ approved by the competent authority (either DG-OEC, Expert Advisory Committee, Committee of Trustees, the OEC Trust) based on the delegated sanctioning power.

Organogram

Technical Research Unit (TRU) is the key operational unit responsible for planning, implementation and coordination of research projects. This unit is also responsible for Technology Scanning, generating new ideas, Economic Analysis & Feasibility, evaluation and selection of research projects, IPR related work, development of In-house research facilities and other work related to projects. TRU provides all necessary administrative support including secretarial support for meetings of the Trust and Expert Advisory Committee, seminars through assistance of HR, Finance & Accounting and MM (Material Management) section of OEC.
