K S Jamestin K S Jamestin, Director (HR & BDJV) ONGC, unveiling the inaugural plaque at the GIS building, OPaL Complex, Dahej

ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL), the grass-root mega-petrochemical complex at Dahej in Gujarat, successfully commissioned 66 KV Gas Insulated Switch Gear (GIS) system. Inaugurated by K.S Jamestin, Director (HR and BD & JV), ONGC and In-charge, OPaL, the complex is the largest of its kind in India.

The system, with the capacity to distribute 180 MW power to various Polymers and other Associated Units, has the state-of-the-art technology comprising 41 bays, and is the longest in India.

K.S Jamestin, in-charge of this mega-project, congratulated K. Satyanarayana, CEO, OPaL and the entire project team for their dedicated efforts in successful commissioning of the system. S. Venkataraman, and S. Balachandran, Directors of OPaL, also graced the occasion.
