Mr Dhiraj further stated that actual users (and not IT department) of individual organizations should drive the projects in collaboration with technology providers (IT should be a catalyst) for implementation of new technologies – which should be customized. “Implementation of the Technology 4.0 shouldn’t be left with only the CIOs of an organization and instead CEOs should come forward. There should be a top-down approach, where all will come together and join hands for the smooth implementation of Technology 4.0.”

He further said that ONGC vision 2040 encompasses formation of Digital Center of Excellence with the right mix of O&G expertise and digital domain experience for enabling smooth implementation of Industry 4.0.
