Mr. Navin Chandra Pandey has assumed the charge of Director – Technical and Field Services (T&FS) of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) today. Shri Pandey is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering College, Allahabad (NIT, Allahabad).

Mr. Pandey joined ONGC in 1982 and has a vast experience of over 36 years in the oil and gas industry. He held various key positions in both offshore & onshore portfolio, handling challenging assignments in oil & gas asset management, operations and services. He has a strong track record in project delivery with his excellent project execution skills. 

He has a rich experience in offshore deep-water/ shallow water as well as onshore drilling. As Operations Manager of deep-water areas, he brought about significant performance improvements in deep-water drilling operations. He is credited with successful management of floater drilling rigs Sagar Bhushan & Sagar Vijay. He was conferred CMD’s ‘Manager of the Year’ award in 2007.

As Asset Manager, CBM Asset Bokaro, he made a turnaround in the Asset operations by fast-tracking development activities in major CBM blocks including land acquisition and synergizing resource mobilization.
