ONGC's former CMD Mr. Sushil Kumar Manglik passed away today. Mr. Manglik was the Chairman of ONGC from 1 February 1993 to 31 January 1994, and the first Chairman & Managing Director of corporatized ONGC from 1 February 1994 to 30 April 1995.

A technocrat in his approach, Mr. Manglik was revered by one and all for his disciplined and technical approach to work. Mr. Manglik secured the Life time Achievement Award in Petrotech-2009 for his immense contributions to the upstream hydrocarbon sector during his career in ONGC. 

The whole ONGC family as well as the Petroleum industry mourns the passing away of a doyen of modern energy industry.
