Mr Vasudeva has been instrumental in projecting ONGC further in the integrated energy space through structured production initiatives in small & marginal fields, improving recovery factors through IOR/EOR methods, downstream value additions including commissioning of OTPC, new discoveries and fast track development; apart from sourcing equity oil from abroad, leveraging state-of-the-art technology and global best practices to tap new sources of energy and bringing in structural initiatives to tap non-conventional energy sources.

It has been under Mr Vasudeva’s stewardship that the entire organization is unifying to implement Perspective Plan 2030 as a road map of growth over the next two decades wherein it aims to double ONGC production to a rate of 4 to 5 % against the present 2% growth rate.
