Global  Environment Award – 2016GGM - Head HSE & EE(Env) receiving the prestigious award

Ankleshwar  Asset has bagged another feather in its cap by bagging the prestigious "Global  Environment Award – 2016” in Gold Category in Petroleum Sector for its  outstanding achievement in Environment Management. The award has been  instituted by Energy and Environment Foundation, New Delhi with  support of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

Ankleshwar Asset feels energized by these prestigious Awards to remain committed and to maintain the same spirit and strive hard for continued excellence. The involvement and contribution of operational and HSE groups of the Asset, which made such attainments possible in the past, will continue to hold aloft such standards in the days to come! The award ceremony was a part of Three day International level conference held at New Delhi. The conference was a platform where variety of concepts, advance and practices relating to Environment was deliberated by a host of organizations. Many national renewable energy companies from countries like Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Zambia, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, participated in the event.

Earlier the report was prepared submitted by EE  (Env)-Asset HSE Mr.Sushil Daud to "Energy and Environment Foundation New  Delhi" as per requirement for scrutiny for selection of award. Application report was  prepared with the support guidance of Mr DMR Sekhar – Asset  Manager  Mr D N Jha. The awardee was selected from companies / units  covering all sectors of industry and services sector who demonstrate highest  level of commitment to Environment Management and follow best practices. As per  the nomination format of Foundation, Asset qualified for Gold Award in compliance to meeting a series of requirements on various conditions stipulated  on Environment Clearances from State Government/Pollution Control Boards/MoEF,  Hazardous/Non-hazardous waste management, Ambient Air/water quality monitoring,  Noise monitoring, Environment Impact Analysis/Assessment activities, other  Environment protection improvement initiatives, Health-care facilities,  Bio-medical waste management, percentage of budget utilization on Environment  Management, Onsite/Offsite Environment Training Awareness, Water Foot Print studies, ISO and OHSAS certifications  and best practices adopted in Environment Protection Pollution control  and achievements so far.

Asset Manager complimented all the employees  of Ankleshwar Asset for adopting and practicing the HSE working culture and  maintaining the highest standards of Environment & Safety in the  operational area due to which asset could achieve this series of award.

Asset Manager also shared that the  Asset has already surpassed all the MOU targets both in production and sales  front. The performance of Drilling, Surface and Sub-surface is highly  impressive and Asset expects to achieve all the MOU targets for the financial  year 2016-17.Asset Manager complimented all the employees of the Asset and  expected them to continue in the same spirit and zeal in the future also.
