Mr. K.S.Jamestin, ONGC Director (HR & BD/JV), has secured Level A Certified Projects Director. The certification was recently awarded by the International Project Management Association (IPMA). With Mr Jamestin, India has only 14 Level-A certified professionals. He is the first in ONGC to be bestowed this honour.

IPMA Level A certification is the highest level of Project Management certifications in the world. There are 497 Level A qualified professionals worldwide. China has over 100 Level A certified professionals.

The International Project Management Association (IPMA) is a non-profit, Swiss-registered organization for the promotion of Project Management internationally. The IPMA is a federation 55 national and internationally oriented project management associations with over 1,20,000 members world-wide.

The Certification was awarded to Mr. Jamestin by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) for outstanding performance in Technical, Behavioural and Contextual Competencies , displayed by him as Projects Leader of various high–value and complex Projects being undertaken by ONGC , in its integration pursuits, in his capacity as Director (Incharge – Business Development and Joint Ventures) of ONGC. Mr.Jamestin was assessed on the basis of a comprehensive Report submitted by him highlighting his competencies as a Projects Director and an in-depth interview by IPMA Level-A Certified Assessors.

The certification entitles Mr. Jamestin the usage of the suffix ‘IPMA–Level A (Certified Projects Director).
