Employee-Welfare


For some time, ONGC has started several welfare schemes for its employees and members of their dependent families so that their quality improves in addition to improving the morale and motivation of their employees.
The following are some of the welfare schemes:

Health Facility

All regular employees and members of their dependent families are provided free medical facility through ONGC's hospitals / hospitals listed through hospitals, including OPD as well as indoor treatment facility. In addition to retired employees and their spouse, the dependents of the workers who died in tapping are also provided free medical facilities like regular employees.

Loans and advances

Loan facility is available for employee convenience to reduce financial difficulties to get land / house, vehicle etc. Employees are also eligible for child education loans, which enable their wards to get higher education in India and abroad.

HBA and Convention Mortgage Exemption Plan

This scheme provides relief to the dependents of the deceased employees with the advance of the outstanding HBA liability and / or the vehicle with advance.

Accommodation Facilities

ONGC has established townships at most of its workstations. Apart from this, ONGC also leases the house for its employees. Bachelor's accommodation is also provided to employees posted on graduation status. The company also offers the facility of leveraging self-strap facility to its employees, where adequate accommodation is not available.

Educational Facilities

ONGC has established 24 project schools in most of its workstations. Of these, 15 are Kendriya Vidyalayas, besides, ONGC has established nine infant school for providing pre-school and kindergarten level education. These schools are being managed by the ONGC Officers Women's Committee at work centers.

Canteen

ONGC offers canteen facility on 'non-profit' basis on all its workstations. In operating areas such as drill sites and offshore, where extended migration is included, free boarding and lodging facilities are provided by the company to its employees.

Work and living condition

Offices

ONGC is building its upcoming offices in Delhi, Dehradun. In Mumbai and Kolkata, 'Green Building', Dehradun and Green Building in Mumbai were inaugurated in 2013 and 2014 respectively. In other workstations, systemic improvement is done in office accommodation and facilities.

Residential complexes

The existing colonies / guest houses are being renovated at several workstations to facilitate the facilities with existing requirements. In addition, in some townships, energy supply has also been started through alternate sources of energy such as wind energy and solar panels. Water storage has been done institutionally in all ONGC residential colonies.

Residential Welfare Organizations

Resident Welfare Associations have been set up at work centers to ensure better customer satisfaction through various welfare initiatives for the residents in the various residential townships, for fast disposal, organizing socio-cultural activities, and for residents.

Employee Welfare committees

Employee Welfare Committees have been set up in all the work centers of the Company to promote and organize sports, sports, literary and cultural activities among the employees and their family members.

Officials Club

Officers' clubs are working on all the workstations and provide opportunities for all officers and their families to enhance the quality of life and the quality of life.

Women Committee of ONGC Officers (OOMS)
