Towards Sustainability

ATI-ONGC believes in leading by example in all its endeavours. In response to the pressing need of our times to reduce the carbon and water footprints, ATI-ONGC has taken exemplary initiatives:

  • A pilot plant for Hydrogen Production has been established in collaboration between ONGC Energy Centre and ICT Mumbai.
  • A 01 MWp Solar Power Plant commissioned on campus in August 2018 has reduced IPSHEM’s annual CO2 emissions by upto 1000 tons and has made IPSHEM ONGC’s first carbon neutral and Green institute. Further, Li-ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) of 1.128 MWh capacity installed in 2024 forming a MICROGRID system for “off-grid” mode operational flexibility.
  • Water conservation is promoted by using methods such as drip irrigation, rain water harvesting and use of sprinklers.
  • Designed with environmental outlook in the fore, all biodegradable kitchen waste is turned into vermi-compost with zero surface disposal. This compost is then used as fertilizer for the foliage in the complex.
  • Waste water produced at ATI-ONGC is recycled after processing through sewage treatment plant. It is used for gardening within the complex - efforts that have yielded a rich bouquet of both flora & fauna all over the campus.

ATI-ONGC bears pride in our partnerships with:
IITs, NIO, NEERI, CIMFR, TERI, NIDM, NSC, PETROFAC

ATI-ONGC’s clients include:
Rosneft (Russia), OIL, HPCL, BPCL, GAIL (India), OVL, Total Energies, IOCL,
IMC, DGMS, Cairn Energy, Airport companies (AAI, GMR, GVK, Adani, other standalone airports)

With a strong commitment towards safe operations in both onshore and offshore, ATI-ONGC stands tall like the noble lighthouse of Goa, guiding the E&P personnel in ONGC and other high hazard industries towards a safer, healthier and greener future.
