Unmukt Chand acknowledges the crowd after reaching 3- figure mark ONGC scholarship player and future star of Indian cricket, Unmukt Chand led India to U-19 World Cup glory at Tony Ireland Stadium, Australia. At no stage of the chase did they allow the asking rate to climb beyond inaccessible limits. Several huge hits on the home stretch ensured the target was achieved in the 48th over.

The other ONGC scholarship player Kamal Passi pitched in with a stupendous bowling performance throughout the tournament. His 6 wkt haul in an earlier match along with 22 runs off 8 balls helped India reach finals.
