IADC WELL SHARP EQUIPMENT OPERATOR COURSE
WCS at IDT, Dehradun is conducting IADC WELL SHARP EQUIPMENT OPERATOR COURSE for well services personnel. This program is based on well control requirement during well servicing operations with exposed flow capable hydrocarbon bearing zones. This course is to be attended by equipment operators who are primarily responsible for the work-over operational process of well control.
Course Duration: 5 Days
COURSE OVERVIEW
Course starts on Monday at 0930 hrs and finishes on Friday at 1730 hrs. For first four days there is extensive class room teaching & simulator training. Assignment containing questions pertaining to day's curriculum are given to the participants & discussion on assignment is taken up the next morning. The course is delivered through presentation of a series of interactive lectures supported by videos and animations, supplemented by a classroom assignments and further self-study exercises.

IADC Well Sharp Examination
IADC Certification program consists of online exam and the simulator practical test, conducted on the last day of the course. A participant has to score minimum of 70% marks to qualify for the IADC certificate. If candidate score from 50 % to 69 %, one reassessment can be made available within forty-five (45) days of the original assessment date. The trainee does not pass the course unless he/she passes the reassessment. Validity of the IADC certificate is two years.
