All India Management Association (AIMA) conferred its AIMA Fellowship to Mr. K S Jamestin, ONGC Director (HR), at Delhi on 14th August 2012. The prestigious Fellowship was conferred during the 17th convocation of the 56-year old Association, considered as an apex body of over 30,000 management professionals.
The fellowship has been conferred to Mr. Jamestin in recognition of his significant and long-standing professional contribution to management. Mr. K.S. Jamestin, apart from spearheading Human Resource in World’s number 2 Exploration & Production company ONGC, also heads oil major’s Business Development efforts towards emerging energy frontiers.

The Fellowship was formally handed over by Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah, PVSM, SM, VSM, Vice Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University and Mr. Rajiv Vastupal, President, AIMA.
Mr. Jamestin joined the Board of ONGC as Director (HR) in May 2011, after demonstrating remarkable managerial competence in variouschallenging roles in a career spanning over 35 years. One of his many stellar contributions has been the successful steering of the then Asia’s largest ERP Project in ONGC, completing all the modules in a record 27 months. He has also been instrumental in putting in place a number of web-based HR processes for 33,000 plus employees of ONGC, like automated Personnel Claims System and e-enabled Performance Appraisal System.
Mr. K.S. Jamestin is an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer with a MBA in Finance, a Diploma in Operations management, and has undergone an Advanced Management Program in Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is also a certified Project Management Professional.
Mr. Jamestin is an active member on the Governing Councils and Boards of important professional bodies like the Indian Society of Training and Development, Member of HR –Committee of Standing Conference of Public Enterprises, Governing Council of Project Management Associates (PMA), Fellow Member of Institute of Electronics and Telecom Engineers( IETE).
