Anant Kumar Singh assumed charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of ONGC on 9 June 2021. Mr Singh, who is also serving as the CVO of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), has been given the additional charge as ONGC CVO for a period of six months.

Mr Singh is an IPS officer of 1994-batch of Madhya Pradesh Cadre in the rank of Additional Director General (ADG). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He has also served as District SP in six districts which includes Bhopal & Jabalpur and also served as zonal IG at Jabalpur.

Mr Singh has worked in Intelligence branch, Planning branch of Police, Lokayukta Sangathan of Madhya Pradesh Government. On deputation to Government of India, he has worked as DIG and IG in CISF.

He is recipient of Police Medal for Gallantry, Police Medal for Meritorious Service and President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
