In pursuit of excellence in Environment Management, IPSHEM, Goa made an another breakthrough in receiving prestigious “Energy And Environment Foundation Global Environment Award 2020” under Platinum category during an online ceremony on 16 December 2020, organized by The Energy and Environment Foundation. The program was held online in view of the present COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Energy and Environment Foundation is one of the prestigious global platform for industry and academia to show their strength, capabilities, expertise and leadership role in the field of environment management and sustainable growth.

IPSHEM Goa, the premier in-house Institute is endeavouring in imparting quality training programs in the fields of Safety, OH and Environment Management. It has achieved many milestones during the past several years by its impressive performance in its core functional areas viz. human resource development through safety trainings and carrying out R&D project studies in the areas of Environment, Fire & Safety and OH related to Petroleum sector for improving the overall HSE standards in the Corporation.

The milestone achievement of the Institute is the result of dedicated team-work of IPSHEM employees under the able leadership of the Director (Onshore), In-charge HSE Mr Anurag Sharma. 

Towards sustainable development and energy conservation initiatives, the Institute has taken up several measures at its campus like setting up 1 MW Solar PV Power project, green-belt development, tree plantation drive, rain water harvesting projects, vermi composting and exploring renewable energy resources for environment protection.

ED Head IPSHEM congratulated all the IPSHEM employees  specially Environment Group for bagging this prestigious Award and emphasized on focusing environment protection, energy conservation, efficiency improvement and good house-keeping as part of sustainable development initiatives.

He believes that such prestigious awards will increase the moral of employees of IPSHEM to elevate the institute to a greater height and will further motivate IPSHEM to pursue its journey to excellence with renewed zeal.
