IPSHEM Goa has received the Apex India Green Leaf & CSR Awards 2019 from Apex India Foundation for its outstanding contribution towards environment excellence. The ceremony was held virtually on 22 December 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. IPSHEM was selected to receive the prestigious award after different levels of scrutiny.

Apex India Foundation is one of the prestigious global platforms for industry and academia to showcase their strengths, capabilities, expertise and leadership in the field of environment management and sustainable growth.

Award receiving address by ED-Head IPSHEM

The function was graced by Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, Defence Expert Retd. Major General PK Saighal, Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Social Justice & Empowerment  Rattan Lal Kataria, Laghu Udyog Bharti National President Baldev Bhai G Prajapati, human rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi and Energy and Environment Foundation President Kuldeep Singh.

In his message, ED-Head IPSHEM Atul Garg congratulated all the IPSHEM employees and emphasized on focussing on environment protection, energy conservation, efficiency improvement, safety culture and good house-keeping as part of sustainable development initiatives. Mr Garg believes that such awards will increase the morale of the employees to elevate the institute to greater heights.

Award function on virtual platform

IPSHEM is a research and development recognized institute under DSIR. In the last few years, the Environment Division of IPSHEM has shown remarkable performance in the field of Environment Monitoring in Mumbai offshore and KG PG basin, produced water management and other critical environment issues in E&P operation. Recently, the Environment Division of IPSHEM had also received NABL accreditation in the field of testing.
