Jubin (left) holds the winner trophy ONGC sports is on real high as its sports persons have been performing exceptionally well at National & International events. Jubin Kumar (ONGC) was crowned the National Champion in men’s doubles at the 75th Sr. National TT Championship that concluded at Patna few days ago.
Jubin paired with Saurav Chakraborthy (IOC) performed exceedingly well right from start of the championship and finally emerged champion defeating its opponent 3- 2 in a 5 setter.
The final game was a real nail biter as the duo were on the verge of defeat, trailing at 9 – 10 but that is where Jubin rose to the occasion and played like a champion to make it 11-11. Once the scores were levelled, there was no looking back and the pair exuding confidence in their ability hit the winning shot.
This is the 9th national title for ONGC this year. The National championship performances hitherto are as under:
