outdoor sportsNot many tournaments in India can boast of a more competitive line-up than the Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) Inter-Unit Billiards and Snooker tournament. With the crème de la crème of Indian cue sports fighting to establish their company's supremacy, the tournament showcases high quality matches year after year.

This year's edition of this annual gala

show, hosted by IOCL, was held in Gujarat Sports Club, Ahmedabad from September 9-14.

Like last year, the power-packed ONGC Team was once again on the winning ways with a clean sweep of Team titles in both Billiards and Snooker thus making a GRAND DOUBLE. Team ONGC represented by Pankaj Advani, Alok Kumar, Sourav Kothari, Rupesh Shah, Dhruv Sitwala and Manoj Kothari(coach) defeated IOCL in the finals of the Team Billiards event.

Team ONGC represented by Pankaj Advani, Alok Kumar, Sourav Kothari, Rupesh Shah, Laxman Rawat (scholarship holder) and Manoj Kothari(coach) defeated IOCL in the finals of the Team Snooker event.

The individual event of Snooker and Billiards was won by Pankaj Advani of ONGC and Devendra Joshi of BPCL respectively. Pankaj Advani of ONGC and Devendra Joshi of BPCL were adjudged as the Man of the Tournament for Snooker and Billiards respectively.
