IHBP conveyed its heartiest thanks to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Mahanadi, Bengal-Purnea & Andaman Basin (MBA Basin) for being a benevolent partner and partnering ONGC in the “Child Sponsorship Project” since July 2013. In the beginning, ONGC started this Project under its CSR activities with 50 differently-abled students. With the resounding success of this Project, ONGC has now increased the number of beneficiaries and is currently sponsoring 100 beneficiaries under this project.

IHBP has been successfully implementing the “Child Sponsorship Project” sponsored by ONGC as per MoU. The parents and guardians of the students are satisfied with the progress and development of their children and eager to send their children to school regularly, and parents of other needy and differently-abled children of the nearby area are willing to admit their children to school. This project has created lots of positive thoughts and belief. Differently-abled students under this Project have appeared in the Madhyamik Pariksha (Class X) since 2017 under W.B.B.S.E. alongside the usual students, and more than 90 per cent students have successfully passed which is a matter of pride.  All the above would not have been possible without the partnership and support of ONGC, as mentioned by the NGO officials.
