A special award ceremony was organized by the Exhibition Committee on Day 2 of Petrotech 2019, i.e., 11 February 2019 at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Greater Noida. The Chief Guest for this special occasion was the Chairman, Exhibition Committee Petrotech 2019 and Director (T&FS), ONGC Mr. N C Pandey.

Mr. N C Pandey, while delivering his welcome address, acknowledged the unstinting efforts that the Organizing Committee and the exhibitors have put in in the past six months to put up the best possible exhibition & conference for the audience.

While expressing his satisfaction at the way the event has turned out so far, Mr. N C Pandey informed the audience that Petrotech 2019 had an overwhelming response with 800+ exhibitors, and 7000+ delegates attending the event.

In his concluding remarks, he emphasized that the basic aim of any exhibition is to showcase the best of technologies, products and services so that people can make an informed choice and Petrotech 2019 has been hugely successful in achieving this.

Before the announcements of Awards, Mr. Pandey stressed that all participating exhibitors are already winners. He asked for future support & collaboration from all of them.

ONGC grabbed 1st position award in two categories, namely, Best Display in Raw Space and a Special Award for Most Innovative Concept & Display. The awards were received by ED – Chief CC Mr. Pallab Bhattacharya & Team members, on behalf of ONGC.

The theme for the ONGC Pavilion was ‘Live the Molecule’, a concept that was used to underline the ethos as to how the hydrocarbon molecule plays an important role in our everyday lives and how responsibly we should use it. A major attraction of the pavilion was an Audio-Visual that was screened on the theme and a kiosk quiz based on it, which generated massive interest and participation.

‘Shenergy’ was recognized as the most Innovative Concept & Display. The concept focused on promoting women empowerment in the oil and gas sector. The women employees of ONGC present at the event received this award on behalf of the Company.
