Petrotech 2019 shall be an effective platform to strengthen global oil and gas engagement, said Mr Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship while addressing diplomats from various countries here yesterday.
Mr Pradhan was speaking during the Diplomatic Curtain Raiser of Petrotech 2019, the 13th edition of the international oil and gas conference and exhibition, which is being organized by ONGC in association with FIPI under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.
“My ministry remains committed to facilitate participation of your representatives. Together we will make Petrotech successful and this will help open new doors”, he said urging the diplomats to encourage their ministers and top CEOs in their countries to participate in Petrotech 2019, which is being organized in the National Capital Region from 10-12 February, 2019.
Mr Sunjay Sudhir, Joint Secretary, International Cooperation, MoPNG presented the detailed program of the three day event, emphasizing on the theme ‘Shaping the New Energy World through Innovation and Collaboration’. He brought out the significance of Petrotech as a global platform for all stakeholders in the entire hydrocarbon value chain.
Earlier, while delivering the welcome address Mr Shashi Shanker, CMD ONGC said “Petrotech is one of the largest events of its kind in South East Asia, attracting policy makers, speakers, business partners, technology and service companies, delegates and exhibitors from India and overseas for deliberations on the current challenges faced by the industry and also showcasing the technology advancement in the energy sector”, he said.
